YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN

Prop Making Project

The Young Frankenstein prop project was a tribute to Kenneth Strickfaden, who was an electrician, film set designer, and electrical special effects creator, and created the science fiction apparatus in Frankenstein (1931), which was later used for Young Frankenstein (1974).
What made this project more interesting was that we were asked to build this prop out of spare parts from electrical appliances and found objects and make one element work/light up/spin.
I used parts from a hair dryer, a vacuum cleaner and some found object to make my iteration of a Frankenstein lab apparatus.
